Geography and climate

Mexico
is a vast country and especially very lengthened (3500 km
separate Tijuana in the Northwest of Cancun in the Southeast).
It possesses borders with the United States in the North
and with Guatemala as well as Belize in the South.

Thanks
to the Pacific Ocean and to the Gulf of Mexico, this mountainous
country enjoys a subtropical climate in plains and more
moderated on heights-trays. The rainy season spreads out
from May till October, with sometimes hurricanes in September.
Otherwise, the rest of the year, the climate is dry and
brightened up.

Landscape and flora

The
landscapes of Mexico are very diversified.
Deserts, scrublands and mountains contrast with the
wet zones, the rain forests and the coast (which counts
more than 10 000 km of coasts). |

The highest summits are volcanoes as the Peak Orizaba
(5 610 m), always active Popocatépetl
(5 452 m), Malinche (4 460 m).

an incomparable biological wealth (cactus, palm trees,
pines, locust tree).
